You already know.

Something in you is ready — ready to stop performing a role, ready to take up more space in your own life, ready to find out who you actually are underneath all the managing.

Maybe you…

You are not broken.
You are not behind.

You are human —
and healing is something you already know how to do.

I'm here to walk alongside you while you remember.
It takes something to reach out.
I honor that.

Deconstruction isn't the destination. It's the clearing that makes it possible to build something more sustainable and true.

I believe you are the expert in you.

Healing isn't mine to give — it's something that happens when you finally feel safe enough to stop bracing, to listen to what your body and your heart have been trying to tell you for a long time. .

Meet Genét

I came to this work the long way. I know from the inside what it feels like when the foundation shifts beneath you — in family, in faith, in your own body. I know what it costs to hold yourself together for people who can't hold the real you. And I know what it takes, slowly and imperfectly, to stop. That shapes how I show up for you

I work with adults navigating some of life's most disorienting passages: renegotiating your relationship with a faith tradition that once organized everything, unraveling early patterns that have followed you further than you'd like, finding yourself after years of caretaking for others, moving through and beyond a health crisis, and learning to trust your own voice when almost everything has taught you not to.

My approach is relational and body-based. I draw from a variety of modalities, including trauma-informed Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and family systems theory. Because the mind alone can only take you so far — healing also lives in the nervous system, in sensation, in the slow work of feeling safe. Technique matters. But it serves something larger: you finding your way back to yourself.

I practice in the Portland, Oregon area and work with individual adults, both via telehealth and in person.
